Super Awesome Tip #5 – E-Mail? What is E-Mail?

Okay, so you are still living in the cave man era – no judgment from us!

We suggest keeping a diary – you will probably need a chisel … Joking... Joking…

But seriously, just keep a diary – have separate tabs for your expenses (you could use the categories mentioned in Part One) write them down and keep the receipts for them – if you can, photocopy your receipts (if you don’t have a photocopier, most post offices and libraries will photocopy stuff for you).

And just like above, total your expenses at the end of the year.

Super simple and super easy!

We understand that keeping track of your tax records throughout the year is difficult (and annoying), life gets in the way and there’s never enough time. But to get the most out of your tax return and receive the big fat refund that you deserve you need to keep those records!

Don’t forget - You must keep all your tax records and receipts for 5 years from the date you receive your Notice of Assessment.

And the best part.... record it all on our free gotax Deduction Grabber App.  Yep you heard it right.  That magical word .... FREE.

Just scan the QR code and it'll point you directly to the store.
